LA VRAIE HISTOIRE

En 2010, Jean-Paul Botelho a fondé une fédération de lutte virtuelle et lui a donné pour nom : BCW ( Botelho Championship Wrestling ). L'objectif était de créer une activité rassembleuse entre amis autour d’un jeu vidéo de lutte qui génère des combats entre les avatars des membres de la fédération. Lors des galas qui ont lieu tous les trois mois, le membre ayant l'avatar gagnant de la soirée est couronné champion de la BCW et repartira avec une VRAIE ceinture.

Dix ans plus tard, Jean-Paul veut faire découvrir la BCW en réalisant un documenteur qui a pour but de raconter l’histoire de l’amitié des membres de la fédération tout en préservant la flamboyance et le côté spectaculaire de la lutte. Chacun des protagonistes personnifie leurs avatars virtuels en augmentant leurs personnalités au niveau 10! Les Aspirants veut faire croire au spectateur que ces gars-là sont des lutteurs et qu’ils prennent leurs matchs, leurs préparations et la fédération beaucoup trop au sérieux. Le documenteur évolue et se transforme lentement en un documentaire qui raconte également l’histoire d'une tradition et d'une sincère amitié qui règne parmi ses membres.

In 2010, Jean-Paul Botelho founded a virtual wrestling federation and gave it the name : BCW ( Botelho Championship Wrestling ). The objective was to create a unifying activity between friends around a wrestling video game that generates fights between the avatars of the members of the federation. At the events, which takes place every three months, the member with the winning avatar of the evening is crowned champion of the BCW and leaves with a REAL belt.

Ten years later, Jean-Paul wants to introduce the BCW by making a mockumentary which aims at telling the story of the friendship of the members of the federation while preserving the flamboyance and the spectacular side of wrestling. Each protagonist personifies their virtual avatar by increasing his personality to level 10! The Contenders want the viewer to believe that these guys are real wrestlers and that they take their matches, their preparations and the federation far too seriously. The mockumentary slowly evolves and turns into a documentary that tells the story of a tradition and a genuine friendship that reigns among its members.
